Not sure about guessing quickly. It’s been awhile since I’ve been in a drive-thru. My Toyota dealer gives me a free hand-wash whenever I pull in (with their name on my license plate holder). That’s been like ten years. That may change once we move south. There are definitely things I’ll miss with the move. Any change is always a trade-off! 😉
Of course I like them! The second one is particularly effective. It’s amazing what is ‘out there’ when you’re aware – and we don’t always need a narrative explanation!
Cynically, I imagine the colors are there so you think you’re getting more – just add the special rinses and stuff, and you’ll get suds with colors in them!
Very clever, Lynn…and nice captures, too, while you were held captive, yourself, during the wash. 🙂

It’s always fun to see what you can get as everything swishes around. Thanks Scott!

Why are we so attracted to that slight abstraction of the real? In spite of being so down to earth! 😉 Maybe ’cause we’re complicated creatures…

You should have made us guess where you were. Very fun images of a rather mundane place or adventure!

It’s fun – I’ve done it before, and every time it’s different. But you’d have guessed it pretty quickly, no?

🙂 ! I bought a Toyo once and got a zillion gallons of free gas – it was nice! Maybe it’s time for another new car – the current one is a 2001! 🙂

Wonderful! You always make the best of every situation. I’m surprised by the green and purple colors in the suds. Thanks for sharing! 🙂

Ah, you ran out of light too 😉 I’m a real fan of abstraction in photography. These images create some art out of nothing. Brilliant.

Inspires me to have my car washed — not to get it cleaned but to take more photos. Wonderful work.
Ditto for your shots of street lights from 1/21.

There are certain things phones do well, and others they can’t do – but this worked! Glad you enjoyed.
