While New England “enjoys” tons of snow

and New York is well below freezing,

we’re basking in unseasonably warm weather

in the Pacific northwest.

Here’s a taste of this week in Seattle,

from the Washington Park Arboretum and

the Center for Urban Horticulture:

The third, fourth and fifth photos were taken with an Android phone; the rest with a Lumix G3, 20mm lens.

      • I’m usually out there about the third week of March (spring break for our college) and things are going flat out by then. Didn’t realize how much I was missing before that.

      • I think this is strange – I’ve only been here 3 years so what do I know, but things seem way ahead of schedule. We had a spell of really wet weather, and now above ave. temps, so there ya go!
