A late summer day –
a bit of rain here and there,
and sun.
It was cool
in the mountains.
Perfect
for a walk among giants.

Sometimes I really think you can take decent photos of a fantastic place and it gets attention. It’s as much, or more, about the place as it is about skill. But that’s OK. I am so glad I moved here!

As I’ve said before, I wish we could easily trade places for a week. I love your images of your beloved land, I love the tropics, and wouldn’t it be grand for you to have Seattle Internet connectivity!

What a lovely forest and beautiful photos! Looks a lot like our forests, but your trees are much larger and plants species more southern.

It does not freeze much here so that changes things. That and a lot of rain allow for huge growth. Good to hear from you!

A beautiful set Lynn! Those are impressive and magnificent trees. You have caught the essence of the Pacific Coast rain forest with the lush greens of the undergrowth and the wonderful textures of the cedar trees and old growth stumps.

Blue, Your photos are really breathtaking! I am amazed by the one that a tiny tree grows on the gigantic tree.

Trees! Yes, there were fabulous trees in the desert, which surprised me. And the bark – the older trees have such heavily gnarled bark, it’s wonderful.
