We’ve had frost in the morning lately and it adheres to just about anything!

Actually, it looks all warm and fuzzy — like fake fur on a pipe. 🙂

I had the same thought as the previous commenter: it looks as if it got fur or a warm fluffy wool sweater!

But the longer I live here, the more I’m coming to realize that this frost is pretty common. Sure looked strange to me though! Thanks for stopping by –

Fantastic find! Those ice crystals are beautiful; late sleepers like me tend to miss these things!

I usually do too! I forced myself to get out there early enough, and I was glad I did because after another hour or so, it’s gone.

A very appropriate interpretation of the challenge. Thankfully we’ve not reached that point yet!

BUt it was so interesting to see – and during the day, it warms up to an acceptable 51 or so F.

We’re averaging a maximum of 45/46 at present and only mild overnight frost is expected in the short term.

Louis – you’re talking Fahrenheit, right? Pretty similar to what we have this time of year – most nights it does not freeze, often because there are clouds and they keep it warmer. But for a few day recently we had really clear skies, which produced freezing temps overnight in some places. I’m trying to learn how the weather works here so I can be ready to take full advantage of it! I ope your garden still has a random bloom or two.
