Lingering Local Color

Fall lingers in the pacific northwest; its transition to winter is subtle. Without the hard freezes many areas experience, scattered leaves cling tightly to fences, mushrooms crop up on forest logs, and berries and mosses remain bright.

        • Obviously you had me fooled! Many of your recent photos look as though they were taken in this area – anyway, wherever they’re taken, your photos are a treat. Oh, and though I’m pretty new here, I don’t think this is unusual – we had more rain than normal, but I think temps have been normal for this time of year and you know that moss is ALWAYS green!
